Sinkhole Vessels joins the permanent collection of MAD
I am delighted to announce that Sinkhole Vessels is now part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Arts and Design in New York. The ceramic pieces produced in collaboration with Colectivo 1050 were featured in the exhibition New Territories: Laboratories for Design, Craft and Art in Latin America, curated by Lowery Simms. January 2015: Talents à la Carte, Maison & Objet
Earlier this year I was invited to this year’s edition of Talents à la Carte at Maison & Objet in Paris. The show included my recent project Totem, a series of stacking ceramic containers produced by Anfora. Totem was included in the best products selections by Monocle, AD Magazine France and Wallpaper. Sinkhole Vessels at the Museum of Arts and Design, NY
I am very happy to announce that Sinkhole Vessels will be taking part of the exhibition New Territories: Laboratories for Design, Craft and Art in Latin America at Museum of Arts and Design. The exhibition features work that represents different aspects of the intersection of design, craft and art that can be observed in contemporary practice in Latin America. New Territories is the first American museum group exhibition dedicated to contemporary Latin American design.
As part of the exhibition events, I will be taking part of the talk New Directions: The Convergence of Design, Art and Craft in Latin America, on November 5th. For More information on the event please follow this link.

Claroscuro presented at 'Five', Clerkenwell Design Week
The project Claroscuro will be presented at the show 'Five', which features a collection commissioned by the American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC) to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Clerkenwell Design Week. The show includes fiveprojects using American hardwood, designed by members of the London-based collective Okay Studio: Liliana Ovalle, Mathias Hahn, Ed Swan, Hunting Narud, Andrew Haythornthwaite & Peter Marigold.

El Otro will take part of the exhibtion La Casa Morbida,Tra Arte e Design at Museo Poldi Pezzoli. The show is curated by Inventario and supported by Foscarini and it features furniture and objects using upholstery and textiles, including works by Gaetano Pesce, Ron Arad, Jean Nouvel, Ettore Sottsass, Hella Jongerius, Raw-Edges, amongst others.

Sinkhole Vessels at Depot Basel, June 2013
We were very pleased to launch Sinkhole Vessels, a collaboration with Colectivo 1050º, at Exhibition 15: Craft & Drawing, organized and curated by Depot Basel. The show, which opened during the Art Fair in Basel, included the work of 13 designers, making an emphasis on the different correlations between design and drawing.
The exhibition took place from June 12 to June 29 2013.

Vera Thinks of Boxes - London Design Festival 2012
Vera Thinks of Boxes is part of the new collection of objects commissioned by Vera, a project orchestrated by Kirsty Minns and Érika Muller (KM and ÉM) which evolves around a fictional character inspired by a series of found photographs.
A group of artist and designers were commissioned to respond to one photo in order to expand Vera’s material and sensorial world, contributing to the second chapter of her collective ficitonal biography.
The collectionVera Chapter Two was presented at the Brompton Design District during the London Design Festival, and more recently at Biennale Interieur 2012 in Kortrijk, Belgium.

Fuego Lento at Maison & Objet. September 7-11, 2012.
Fuego Lento was selected for the trendzone called Elément(s), curated by François Bernard. The event took place during Maison & Objet in Paris. The stand was divided into four different sections showcasing products that evokes associations to either earth, fire, wind or water.

Looking Pewter at Depot Basel. June 11- July 11, 2012.
Another Terra, a project by In Residence, joined the exhibition Art & Scenography at Depot Basel, during the Art Basel festival. The exhibition brought together a range of contemporary cultures to create an impressive set of references around craft and scenography – some of them were visually pleasing, some of them were collectable.
Depot Basel is a temporary venue that hosts exhibitions, workshops, talks and films for two years, initiated by the Association For Demanding Everyday Culture.

Another Terra, Fuori Salone, Milan 2012
Looking Pewter, a new series of mirrors made in sandcasted pewter, were presented at the exhibition Another Terra, curated by Barbara Brondi and Marco Rainó. The exhibition is part of In Residence, an annual project based in Torino that has the purpose to identify, analyse and delve into the different aspects of experimental contemporary art research linked to design.
The exhibition features work of designers Tomas Alonso, Pieke Bergmans, Forma Fantasma, BCXSY, Philippe Malouin, Studio Besau Marguerre, amongst others.

Fuego Lento at Destination Mexico, MoMA Store
From early May through June 30, 2012, The Museum of Modern Art’s New York retail store locations and its online store, MoMAstore.Org, will feature Destination: Mexico, a collection of products created by contemporary Mexican designers. Destination: Mexico will also be featured in the MoMA Design Store’s Tokyo location.
